We're church people who happen to do insurance.
We're not insurance people who happen to serve churches. We're church people who happen to do insurance.
MinistrySure was founded in 1989 by William McBroom — a minister and former Deputy Insurance Commissioner for the State of Georgia. He believed churches deserved better insurance advice than what generalist agencies could offer. He brought Brotherhood Mutual to Georgia and built an agency around that belief.
Originally called RH Sims Insurance Agency, that legacy now lives through brothers Michael and Matthew Campbell. Both raised in the church. Both raising their families in it. They didn't inherit a business — they inherited a conviction: that the people protecting your ministry should understand your ministry.
Michael and his wife are passionate about foster care and adoption — and their family reflects that calling. Matthew moved his family from California to Georgia in 2021 to build MinistrySure alongside his brother. This isn't a side venture. It's what their families are built around.

Pastor William McBroom founds the agency to serve Georgia churches and ministries.

RH Sims Insurance
Ron Sims — McBroom's son-in-law — and his wife Barbara gradually take the reins, growing the agency's ministry focus across Georgia.
2011
Michael Campbell
Michael joins the agency and is named Brotherhood Mutual's Agent of the Year and Rookie of the Year in 2011 — the same year.
2021
Matthew Campbell
Matthew — named Brotherhood Mutual's Rookie of the Year in 2008 and Agent of the Year in 2015 — moves from California to Georgia to grow the agency alongside his brother.
2023
MinistrySure Is Born
Ron and Barbara pass the torch. Michael and Matthew rebrand to MinistrySure — now serving over 700 Georgia ministries with an 11-person team.
